‘World first’ – Hörmann’s ProMatic canopy operator
Hörmann have produced a ‘world first’ device allowing homeowners to automate their canopy door.
The intelligently designed lifting arm, added to the tried and tested ProMatic canopy operator, provides a smooth and trouble-free automatic opening of any Hörmann canopy garage door. The device allows people to open and close their garage door with the touch of a button, using BiSecur radio technology.
When purchasing the ProMatic canopy operator, homeowners are provided with two hand transmitters.
Along with the convenience of an automated door, the canopy operator provides unrestricted drive-through height with no requirements for additional modifications or an unsightly bow arm device fitted to the rear of the door. If homeowners already have a canopy door installed the unit is easy and are quick to retrofit.

The BiSecur radio system is included as standard for all garage door operators. Hörmann’s innovative BiSecur radio system with status query comes with unique convenience and security functions and also includes hand transmitters in an exclusive high-gloss design.
The optional Hörmann BiSecur gateway allows you to conveniently control your Hörmann garage door or entrance gate operators, Hörmann entrance door* and other devices using your smartphone or tablet. You can also display the door position for your garage door or entrance gate, as well as the locking state of your entrance door* while on the go.

The soft start and soft stop function guarantees stable, quiet door travel. The obstacle detection function protects people and objects and gives you a feeling of safety.
Useful additional functions round off your comfort, e.g. the automatic timer function that closes your door after a pre-defined period*, or the option to open the door only partially for people to pass through. The operators RotaMatic and VersaMatic are also available with a convenient battery and optional solar panel.

In addition, the PortaMatic is up to 25 % less expensive than comparable door operators.
